My husband have been coming here since the early 2000's and it never disappoints. It doesn't matter what time of year. There is always plenty to do and the lake house is beautiful year round. Highly recommend.
Have been several times already! Views for days, great lake access, quiet area, awesome house with great kitchen and play room. Pool table, tvs, tons of outdoor space, can't say enough great things about this property!

We stayed here for a girls' trip long weekend, and it was the perfect choice for our group! If you are looking for a peaceful escape, look no further. This lakehouse is the definition of comfortable. From the plush couches to the porch seating, every corner invites you to relax. The beds were a major highlight—we all agreed it was some of the best sleep we’ve had in years! I can personally attest that the master shower is absolutely amazing (exactly what you need after a day of exploring). The house is incredibly well-appointed; the kitchen is fully stocked and roomy - perfect for staying put and preparing your own meals so you can stay close and enjoy the location. We spent so much time just soaking in the stunning lake views from the house. The location is fantastic. It was a relatively quick trip into Franklin, NC, where we had an excellent meal at Gracious Plates on Main. For those who love the outdoors, we highly recommend hiking up to the Wayah Bald Fire Tower for breathtaking views. We truly didn't want to go home!

We have been coming to this home on Lake Nantahala every summer since 2010, and it’s become a cherished tradition. The house is clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly designed for groups, with a smart split-level layout that gives everyone space to unwind. The views are stunning, especially at sunset, and while there is a walk to the dock, it’s well worth it—the dock is spacious and perfect for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the water. We bring our jet skis and love the easy lake access. The kitchen is well-equipped, making group meals a breeze. It is peaceful yet close to nearby wedding venues, and David is an outstanding host—always responsive and thoughtful. Whether for a family vacation or a wedding weekend, this place is truly special.
